Stefan Schmidt – July 31, 2016:
I bought an AC 25 / 63 (630 mm scale) for my daughter. And I have to say that I’m really impressed by the sound and playability of this guitar. I own a small collection of Japan-made Aria and Shiro classical guitars and one dreadnought from the Matsumoku era (mid-60ies to early 80ies), which I really love, as well as some other guitars (classical and elelectric) from renowned German, Spanish and US manufacturers, some of them all solid woods – so I believe that I have a good base for a comparison.
Also I have been playing bass and guitar for nearly 30 years, and, God knows, I have owned and traded some dozens of guitars in this time.
This guitar is well worth the money, actually it can easily compete with models of other brands of up to twice the price.
It has also great looks and is made of selected woods.
Slim and easy-to-play neck and great tone.
Strong and tight basses, clear and smooth trebles. Very balanced sound to my ear.
No dead spots, excellent intonation, relatively low action.
Since the guitar is pretty lightweight, it responds very quickly.
Definitely a very good choice in its price range.
Aria has had experience in the field of classical guitars for 60 years now, so they know what they are doing.
Not that bad
